El
pasado 28 de abril celebramos en nuestro Centro el II CONGRESO “CULTURA,
CIENCIA Y COMUNICACIÓN” IES FRANCISCO SALZILLO 2015-2016.
Se
trata de una actividad cuyos objetivos están enfocados en dos ámbitos:
- La creación de nuevos espacios en los que nuestros
alumnos puedan desarrollar sus capacidades de expresión, creación, reflexión y
argumentación, estimulando además la vocación del estudiante hacia la
investigación científica, humanística, técnica o artística.
- Y por otra parte, posibilitar la participación
de toda la comunidad educativa así como la difusión de las actividades del
centro al ámbito social del municipio.
Participaron
doce alumnos con comunicaciones cortas, de 10 a 15 minutos, basadas en trabajos
que habían elaborado previamente para alguna de las asignaturas del curso, y
que después ampliaron y adaptaron para su exposición en el congreso. Se
presentaron trabajos de Matemáticas, Biología, Cultura Clásica y Literatura,
una variedad temática que aportó dinamismo y mayor interés a la actividad. Algunos de estos trabajos se han desarrollado en el marco del proyecto Erasmus+, El español: pasaporte entre culturas.
En
el público se contaba con los compañeros de clase de los alumnos participantes,
y también con alumnos de Primaria y Secundaria de otros centros del municipio a
los que habíamos invitado y que tuvieron la amabilidad de acompañarnos.
También contamos con la presencia de la Asociación de Madres y Padres del
Centro, y un representante del gobierno municipal.
La evaluación de la experiencia no puede ser
más positiva. Subir a un escenario a realizar una comunicación ante un público
numeroso es un reto para cualquiera, y nuestros alumnos lo superaron muy
satisfactoriamente. De hecho, ha sido muy gratificante ver el esfuerzo y el
interés que han puesto en ello, y cómo han ido aprendiendo y mejorando en el
proceso. Así que sin duda, el próximo curso convocaremos el tercer congreso y
esperamos involucrar a un mayor número de alumnos participantes y de
profesores.
On April 28th,
we celebrated the II
CONGRESS "CULTURE, SCIENCE AND COMMUNICATION" IES FRANCISCO SALZILLO 2015 2016 in our secondary school. It is an activity whose
aims are focused on two areas:

can develop their skills of expression, creation, reflection and argument, also stimulating the vocation of the student
towards technical, artistic, humanistic
and scientific research.

And
on the other hand, enable the participation of the entire educational community
and the dissemination of the school´s activities in the social sphere of the
municipality.
Twelve students
with short productions , from 10 to 15 minutes, based on works that had
previously been developed for some of the subjects of the academic year, and
then elaborated and adapted for their
explanation in the Congress. Biology, Mathematics, Classical Culture and Literature works
presented a thematic variety that brought dynamism and most interest to the
activity. there were classmates of the participating students in the audience and
also , students from other primary and secondary schools in the city that had
been invited and who were kind enough to accompany us. We counted on the
presence of the Association of Parents of the school and a representative of
the local government , too . The assessment of the experience may not be more
positive. To go on stage and perform an exposition to a large audience is a
challenge for anyone, and our students passed the test brilliantly indeed . In fact, it has been very gratifying
to see the effort and interest they have
put in their work and how they have been
learning and improving in the process. Definitely,
next year, we will convene the third congress and we hope to involve a larger
number of participating students and teachers.
